The Inventory Manager will provide day-to-day inventory management and carry out various administrative tasks. They will work closely with the General Manager to coordinate product orders from wholesalers. They will be responsible for ensuring that inventory audits and reconciliations are routinely conducted, as well as handle any inventory reports or inspections by governing or regulating agencies. Their most important job is to ensure that only the highest-quality product is available at the dispensary.

  • Receive and record new product that is delivered into the store
  • Manage data entry into our POS system and METRC
  • Reject non-compliant products and accept only compliant products
  • Audit and report the accuracy of the entered data weekly, monthly, etc.
  • Report all inconsistencies in inventory as well as any compliance violations
  • Maintain an organized vault/inventory storage space
  • Perform inventory checks weekly to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Pull and destroy any old, damaged, mislabeled, or poor-quality products
  • Stock shelves with excess products
  • Purchase marijuana products for the shop based on inventory needs
  • Observe market shifts in sale of product by type
  • Coordinate and manage daily physical and point-of-sale counting efforts
  • Explore opportunities for growth of business – new products, vendor deals, etc.
  • Create new and maintain existing relationships with wholesale vendors
  • 2+ years experiences as a logistics manager or warehouse manager
  • Experienced in management information software (MIS) and data entry
  • Extensive organization skills and strong attention to detail
  • Cannabis retail experience preferred
  • Associate degree or two years’ management experience
  • Retail management experience preferred
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and with others
  • Strong time management skills
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Must possess valid driver’s license or state ID
  • Must pass any and all required background checks
  • Must possess current state cannabis worker license or permit (if applicable)
